98.5 KLUC ADD POLICY:

98.5 KLUC adds new music to the playlist via:  listener requests (email and phone), local audience music research, regional/national building stories, and by judgments of the music committee consisting of Program Diretor: Cat Thomas, and Music Director: JB King.

All entries will be included.   98.5 KLUC includes independent promotion companies, or independent record promoters, as a class from gaining access to station programmers, so long as the indie is not compensated by the record company on the basis of adds.  Any indie that wishes to work with 98.5 KLUC must first sign the CBS Radio Independent Music Promoter Certification Letter, which confirms that the indie is not compensated on the basis of adds and will not provide 98.5 KLUC with any consideration.
